“Cruisin’ Pacific Coast Highways” by Tim Coffman slated for release:
(San Diego, CA) Rolltop Music announces the release of “Cruisin’ Pacific Coast Highways, The Longboard Collection” Written, arranged and produced by Tim Coffman, this 10-song collection is the first in a series of CDs that celebrates and commemorates California’s coastal highways, known as State Route1 or California 1, some portions also have a name designation, such as Pacific Highway, Cabrillo Highway, Coast Highway or the best-known road, Pacific Coast Highway, which the locals simply call PCH.
The allure and charm however, of all these beach roads goes much deeper than any 3-letter acronym, it represents a way of life as it passes through California’s unique beach communities.
Those who were fortunate enough to have grown up in a California beach town as Tim was, traveled these highways to find their favorite surfing spots and beach hangouts or just to do some people watching. They were more than just a road to somewhere good, it was a vibe that you soaked in, looking out at the expanse of the Pacific Ocean with its never ending sets of waves and smell of salt air. Life was good, really really, good.
Musically, Cruisin PCH has a stellar list of driving, up-tempo instrumentals. It is definitely music to take with you on your next road trip. The “old skool” surf music rocks a little harder and the vibe is right for Cruisin’ Pacific Coast Highways.
